World Bank Ranks Nigeria 122nd Best Place To Start Business.

The World Bank has ranked Nigeria 147th among the best places for doing business. It also ranked the country as the 122nd for best countries to start a business.

The report released, yesterday, said Nigeria’s low ranking is mainly caused by electricity problems, where the country is ranked 185th out of 189 countries evaluated. The first African country on the list is Rwanda, ranked  32nd.

Colombian Mother Arrested for Selling Virginity of 12 Daughters for $200 Each.

A 45-year-old mother from Colombia has been arrested for allegedly selling her 12 minor daughters' virginity for around $200 each, according to reports.Colombian police arrested the mother, identified as Margarita de Jesus Zapata Moreno, and a man named Cornelius Titus Daza this week for the alleged crime in the capital Bogota.

The arrest was made after one of the daughters, who was impregnated by Titus, got in touch with police and informed them about the incidents, CNN reported. The girl contacted police after her mother told to abort the child.

School Wall Kills Pupil.

One pupil died and four others sustained injuries when wall of Ketu Adiye Owe Primary School in Ado Odo/Ota Local Government Area of Ogun fell on them on Thursday. The incident happened during the children's break.The affected classroom was located in an erosion-prone part of the school compound.

A cat that was being used to smuggle Cannabis into a Moldova jail has been caught red-pawed by authorities.BBC reports that the sneaky feline, which would frequently leave and enter the jail through a hole in a fence, was recently nabbed by prison guards. Two packets of pot were reportedly found attached to the cat’s oversized decorative collar.
