Time was, 'nude' didn't
really mean 'nude' - it meant a sort of one-shade-doesn't-fit-all beige.
But ever since last
year, brands have cottoned to making "nude" mean something other than
a colour that matches white skin, with Estee Lauder, Butter London and Revlon
ALL creating nude nail shades that tried to cater to different skin tones.
Tights brand Falke also brought out multi-tonal nude tights in their Perfect
Skin Colour collection, with shades matching a range of skin tones from pale to
dark.
