Ambassador of Switzerland to Nigeria, Dr. Hans-Rudolf Hodel, yesterday said all the $700 million in Swiss bank accounts belonging to the late head of state General Sani Abacha have been returned to Nigeria.

Aviation: Aero Changes Name to Nigerian Eagle
There are indications that Nigeria's oldest airline, Aero Contractors, has transmuted to a national carrier and has changed its name to Nigerian Eagle and would unveil it on Sunday as national carrier by President Goodluck Jonathan on his return from the UK. One of its aircraft, a Boeing 737-500 classic, painted with new livery and the new name, landed in Lagos at about 8:45 pm on Tuesday night and was secretly parked in a private fixed based operation (FBO) facility at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.

Bishop David Oyedepo, General Overseer of Living Faith Church, also known as Winners Chapel, has accepted to be the guest preacher in this year’s Akwa Ibom Government Christmas Carol Night, which will feature 9,999 choristers from the 31 local government areas of the state.

40 Nollywood Stars To Get N150 Million Grant, Okonjo-Iweala Says.
The Nigerian government on Wednesday said it awarded various grants to 40 Nollywood stars operating in the country’s film industry under the recently launched Capacity Training Fund of the Presidential Intervention scheme called “Project ACT Nollywood.”
The training portion of the Capacity Building Fund valued at about N150 million is dedicated to training and skill acquisition for Nigerian movie practitioners in all competencies along the value chain of Nigeria’s movie industry.

US Singer Named Sexiest Man Alive.
Adam Levine has been named People magazine's sexiest man alive, the US magazine has announced.
The 34-year-old singer-songwriter, who is engaged to Victoria's Secrets model Behati Prinsloo, told People magazine he was taken aback by the announcement.
"I was just amazed and stunned and it almost seemed like they were kidding, but they weren't, so that's cool," he said of the news.
Levine joins an illustrious list of prior winners of the award including Channing Tatum, Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp, Ryan Reynolds, George Clooney and Matt Damon.
