Miss Hospitality Ambassador 2013, Cynthia Igbokwe is a native of Ehime LGA in Imo state, 4th child out of 7 children, a graduate of social works from the University of Calabar, Cross River state of Nigeria.

The emergency of Miss Cynthia Igbokwe as Miss Hospitality Ambassador 2013, and also a brand ambassador of Mirage Hotels , has set a pace in the history of pageantry in Nigeria to promote tourism, as well as the hospitality industry. 

Miss Cynthia Igbokwe stunningly captured the minds of her overwhelming cheering fans with a promise to contribute her bit as an ambassador of hospitality towards ensuring further improvement in the tourism sector, and the hospitality values of our great country is being felt by every citizen not just the rich but the underprivileged and needy ones in our society.

Therefore, as a passionate girl with so love for children especially the underprivileged, Miss Cynthia Igbokwe has decided to embark on her pet project title "SAVE OUR TOURIST" a project geared towards ensuring a safer and peaceful environment for our tourist to living. 

She promise to ensure that underprivileged children are taken off the streets and be given the necessary education from primary to secondary level with focus on tourism and hospitality in line with federal government vision "fascinating people" initiated by the current honourable minister for culture, tourism and national orientation.

The purpose for this campaign is to ensure that underprivileged children grow up with the thought of being hospitable towards one another in order to fight and reduce crime, community crises, boundary disputes amongst neighbouring communities, states and the Nation at large.

However, interractions and interview held with some children especially the street urchins indicate that thousands of children roaming the streets have nowhere to go or someone to sponsor their yearning needs for education hence; they end up hawking and/or hanging out on the streets thereby becoming not useful to the society and making it un-save for our tourist to living. 

This scene is pathetic and calls for empathy philanthropist as well as better disposed citizens to bring succor to this seemingly helpless group of human kind. The "SAVE OUR TOURIST" project is an overt appreciation of the tourism status of our dear country and the need for private initiative to partner with governments robust agenda towards improving the hospitality sector.

She therefore call on individuals, philanthropists, politicians, government office holders, stakeholders of the hospitality industry, corporate bodies, NGO's, media houses and the entire general public to join us in this laudable cause in insuring that the underprivileged chidren and widows in our society are given proper attention and care.
